| Client/Group progress summary | Client was visibly tired today. We completed our session plan even though he was pushing himself a bit. He loves practicing his various asanas in his pool. He's sitting up a bit straighter at times. We talked about this being a mindfulness practice - checking in with his breath - grounding through feet and sitz bones as he lifts sternum and chin. We worked on how much deeper his breathing is when he's seated more upright. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Overall, I'm pleased with all we've accomplished working together. It's gratifying to see his progress and willingness to keep practicing. Client seems more and more open to our Raja chats and enjoys relating personal stories re various topics. I'm grateful to remember that I don't have to fix him or anything - simply offer practices and insights that I believe will be of benefit to him. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Client wants to continue working together in 2025. My plan is to expand upon our current chair yoga sequence and introduce some more breathing practices. |
