| Client/Group progress summary | Client says he feels he has been building good habits around his yoga practice. He has been working intensely around the house and feels re-energized by his "movement and breathing snacks". |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I see from my notes on the last session that I felt inspired to explore some of the more subtle aspects of Energy like the chakras, doshas, and gunas, but I didn't progress towards that between these two sessions. I did feel good about adding the restorative movements towards the end of the practice, as i felt inspired intuitively to do so, but I still would like to really dive into be able to teach the subtle aspects of each asana alongside the physical aspects of the postures and movements. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Next session we will continue to read and discuss specific raja yoga yoga sutras and teachings. Asana and pranayama practice will continue, and I am resolving to myself to study at least the basic energetic effects that the various classes of asana (back bend, forward bend, inversion, twist) have on the doshas, chakras, and gunas. |
