Homework assignment to client/group

Client did some breathing practice, no asanas and she did not start with journaling she states that she has just too much to do and she did not get to it.
In her intake it is note worthy that she did not state and goals and it is something to address but I did not address it today .
Today she was on time for her session with me

Activities

Client states that she likes the Christmas season because she likes to decorate, but also feels overwhelmed by several invitations and she is afraid to commit to and having to cancel in the last minute. She also still struggles with her son who does not have anything lined up for next year because he does not know what her wants to do. Her son has a lot of conflicts with his girlfriend and she feels bad because she likes the girlfriend a lot and she is friends with her mother. So she called up the girlfriends mother.
She continues to have pain in her back and right arm and this time she mentions pain in her neck as well. She states that she was in so much pain that she decided to try the CBD spray ordered by her pain specialist and she did not think it was helpful but she does also state that she was told by the pharmacist she needs to take it regularly but the pain special told her she could also take it as needed so she went with this recommendation but she acknowledged that she used it at the hight of her pain and only once.
Started out with centering and breathing practice, she states that she likes the centering because it gives her awareness of her body.
continued with neck rolls, ear to shoulder, shoulder rolls
arm raises , arm raises with twist, side bends
upper body circles in the chair
cat cow, forward fold in the chair and back bends in the chair which she was able to do without the pain getting worse.
guided yoga nidra

Client/Group progress summary

Client continues to make very slow progress but she does want to continue meeting with me.At this time I will continue to work with her but we do need to establish a routine and a goal.

Reflection and self-evaluation

My approach with her might be too gentle and I need to reflect on that some more. She does like my approach but as stated above she does not make much progress.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

we will be taking a holiday break and we will continue on setting goals for her
