Homework assignment to client/group

She did not do any of there assignments we talked about trying gratitude practice and she states that she will give this a try and report back next meeting

Activities

Meet with client after 1 month of break. States that she had subscribed to a yoga/ pilates course but she has not gone at all so she is considering to cancel this contract. She states that she does not feel motivated and this really bothers her she used to work for an unemployment agency and she would take pride in aging able to motivate others and get them back into employment more than her colleagues and now she is not able to motive herself since she was diagnosed with MS. She was happy that her son in the last minute at the end of the year joined a volunteer group in south America and he likes it there a lot. This also means that she has the house to herself and she is able to do more self care. She talked about wanting to take a nice long bath.
She was again 15 minutes late for the session she apologized stating that she lost track of time.
She is planning to go meet a friend for a long weekend and she is looking forward to this.
Started centering and breathing practice.
neck rolls shoulder rolls chest openers
arm raises, arm raises with twist
cat cow in the chair, upper body circles
downward dog with her of the chair
pyramid pose with chair
guided yoga Nidra in the chair.

Client/Group progress summary

Client continues to make very little progress but she did talk about improving self care and wanting to be more motived .
She states that she stopped drinks coffee and started drinking green tea, she thinks that is an accomplishment because she likes coffee a lot

Reflection and self-evaluation

I am continuing to follow her baby steps and I am patient with the process, but I do think we need to set treatment goals.
In high insight I should have praised her more about stopping coffee and starting green tea as this is a major lifestyle change for her

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

next meeting I will address treatment goals for her
