Client/Group progress summary

Client confessed that she'd only been doing the hand exercises between sessions. I told her that's OK. We then discussed adding one more practice to her regular routine. After some discussion she agreed to practice breathing practices at bedtime and Voo Breath when she's stressed during the day.
She's been through a lot lately - loss of SO and a bad car accident, which wasn't her fault. She's coping with some pain in her neck and right shoulder. I referred her to a chiropractor for treatment. We agreed to practice more chair yoga and added some props to Yoga Nidra.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Client seems engaged and is most appreciative of our work together - she exclaims how much she's benefiting from our work together. For me, I'm wondering if I'm really getting through to her. I sense a disconnect and perhaps she's just people-pleasing? Perhaps I'm overthinking this.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Due to client's recent car accident, we'll shift focus to more chair yoga and restorative postures. Continue with meditation - seems to be some resistance there.
