Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

I adjusted the care plan to allow more time for sharing and reflection. Learned once again to keep some extra teaching points and practices in my back pocket - and to go with the flow of each session ensuring that participants got

Client/Group Goals

All in all, I trust that participants gained some insight, humor and support with various tools and practices for the holiday season. There were no significant changes for the participants' goals.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

I could see that participants had a better understanding for their bodies and nervous systems when under stress. Working with these micro-practices or hacks was empowering and most appreciated.

Energetic level

Simple breathing awareness and practices was most beneficial for clients as they experienced connecting with their breath and themselves in the present moment.

Emotional

Learning to live with the stress by simply owning it and normalizing it was really helpful for some in easing up on the anxiety and frustration that often arises during the holiday season. Most found the practice of just taking a deep breath to reclaim themselves and the present moment in face of various stressors was most beneficial.

Intellectual / Sense of self

Tuning into the Inner Witness, or Purusha, was an interesting experience for some. Taking time to step back, check-in with themselves by observing their thoughts and assessing what's going on was new for some. They liked the idea of creating space for themselves and remembering that their thoughts come and go, and, more importantly, that they are not their thoughts.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

Sutras 1.2 and 2.35 were most beneficial to group as they considered how they want to move through the holidays. Taking time for self-reflection, "micro-pauses" throughout the day and being gentle, gentle with themselves when they find themselves frustrated or over-extending themselves, etc.

What you would change with benefit of hindsight

Just continue to develop / fine-tune content and set an intention to enjoy myself more and go with the flow.
