| Activities | Checking in with her client about her mood, energy, sleep and concentration. She states that she continues to be sad, when asked about what brings her joy and prompting that in the past she liked being in nature, she states that this is what she would have said in the past but due to her limited mobility this is no longer possible. We talked about that she likes being on her balcony overlooking nature, she states that she can see how she still enjoys to connect to nature. She did state that her doctor made a referral for her to talk therapy. She states that her sleep is good and her energy is fair. Her concentration is ok but she still does not like reading too much but she also was not an avid reader before her stroke. |
| Client/Group progress summary | She is making slow process. She is open to her doctor referring her to therapy and she states that she would try it. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I do think that I am patient with her process and I am not raising her anxiety by pushing her too much. I am listening to her needs. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
