I observed she was able to get up and down without any issue. Her breath was normal. We spoke about her stress from work and how she continues to use box breathing to help ground her and reduce her stress at work. Philosophy: Explained the 4 locks and keys. By using the right key in each situation, we keep our own mind at peace. Instead of getting caught up in jealousy, judgment, comparison, or frustration, we cultivate kindness, compassion, joy, and inner calm. | Client/Group progress summary | The client is progressing nicely, always showing up with a positive attitude and fully present in each session. Her enthusiasm and commitment make the work enjoyable and effective. She shared that her breathwork from yoga has been beneficial not only at work but also during her runs. She’s noticed that her breathing is now deeper and no longer confined to her chest. Additionally, she mentioned experiencing a “good sore” feeling after yoga, similar to a workout, which reassures her that she’s building strength in her muscles and bones—an important benefit for managing her osteopenia. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I'm glad to see the client progressing nicely. It's especially great to see her staying committed to her daily 20-minute practice and fully dedicated to her yoga therapy journey. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
