Client/Group progress summary

S.K states that she mood is good, sleep though continues to be interrupted. She started drinking decaf coffee at lunch. She ran 13 miles on Saturday. She continued to go to PT and works on stretching and strength with the help of an app.

B.D.she played a lot of pickle ball, and works in her woodshed. Her sleep is good. She feels some anger due to politics. She enjoys getting back to yoga and she especially enjoys the chair because she feels every one move on their own pace.

L.C she feels that the back stretches and the chest openers have helped her to improve her back pain. Since they paused the refugee settlement her work with immigrant children has really been affected. People are being laid off, and this causes a lot of stress. She states that her mood is still good but she is stressed. Sleep is ok.

L.M.She states that she is trying to stay in the moment and to tell herself that facilities and administration is out of her control. She is stressed about the cutting of federal grants. She is considering taking early retirement, as she turns 59 and 1/2 soon, but she likes her work and is not ready to let go. Her mood is good her stress level is high. Her back pain is about the same.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Talked about Satya today and the sentence that really resonates with the group was:
The compassion keeps truthfulness from being a personal weapon.
One member states that she finds this to be so true, when in disunion people will say "but it is true, these are the facts", and they use it to get back at people.
An other member states that at work she sometimes has to make people aware of their mistakes and this is difficult, we talked about the difference between teaching from the intellect and teaching form the heart. That the teaching from the heart encompasses more kindness and compassion.
I enjoyed our discussions about truthfulness today.
I am working on teaching more from the heart and I think I am on a good path.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

I will continue to work with the chair, include even more sequences from the joint freeing yoga.
