| Homework assignment to client/group | Home practice: Notice posture, natural curvatures of the spine and notice posture of the pelvis. Practice cat/cow, bridge, yogi squat and notice the movements of the pelvis and the muscles. 10 minutes/day |
| Activities | Check in: everyone said their energy level was medium and feeling good. Checked in via koshas. Noticed everyone was able to move with ease and getting up and down from the mat with no issues. Everyone was able to practice 10min/day at home in addition to studio yoga classes. MR-3 classes, AM-3, JG-2, ER-1 Philosophy: We spoke about tapas - the burning and discipline. Taking small steps towards your goal and cultivating a sense of self discipline. Breath: Continued with deep breaths/extended exhales, feeling the circumferential breathes (chest, belly, back and ribs). |
| Client/Group progress summary | They are progressing nicely and are beginning to truly feel and connect with their pelvic floor. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I continue to enjoy leading this pelvic floor group, as it provides such a supportive and empowering space for women. Often, we don't pay attention to our pelvic floor, and it's encouraging to see how the group creates an opportunity to not only discuss this vital area of our bodies but also expand our awareness and explore it in a safe, non-judgmental environment. | Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
