Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

Better Wrist Mobility & Comfort: With modified wrist exercises, the client now experiences less stiffness and discomfort in daily activities and has gained greater awareness of how to move safely. We used props such as a yoga strap in seated or reclined hamstring stretches to avoids overreaching, protecting the spine. Used the strap in assisting shoulder mobility by helping with gentle shoulder stretches without wrist strain. We used yoga blocks in modified plank on blocks to reduce wrist extension. in standing poses (e.g., Triangle) we used blocks helped bring the floor closer, reducing spinal strain.

Client/Group Goals

Over the course of our seven sessions, we made steady progress toward the client’s goals, focusing on building strength, improving mobility, and increasing confidence in movement while ensuring joint safety and bone health.
-Incorporated safe weight-bearing poses.
-Modified wrist-bearing poses to avoid excessive pressure while still engaging supporting muscles.
-Practiced breath awareness techniques to enhance relaxation and body-mind connection.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas

Energetic level

The client has become more aware of their breath, linking it with breath and movement. They have learned to incorporate breath work techniques outside of sessions, helping them feel more centered and less tense.

Additional Information
Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework)

The client reported feeling stronger and more flexible since beginning yoga therapy, which reassures me that our approach is working. Additionally, she is integrating breath awareness into her daily life to manage stress, showing that the practice is extending beyond our sessions.

What you would change with benefit of hindsight

-Perhaps using resistance bands could have further supported bone density and wrist stability.
-Explored more variations to give the client additional options, such as fist or forearm-based poses instead of flat palms.
-Maybe incorporating journaling, reflection, or self-inquiry prompts would have been beneficial.

Did you enjoy your service?

Yes, I genuinely enjoyed working with this client. It was rewarding to see their progress over seven sessions. I appreciated the opportunity to: Get creative with modifications and props to support their osteopenia and wrist concerns. Deepen my understanding of how to balance strength-building and joint safety. Celebrate small but meaningful victories, like improved balance, better posture awareness, and greater ease in movement.
