| Homework assignment to client/group | L.C.states that she tends to be impulsive and she likes "shiny things" and in the past she thought that people loved her when they gave her shiny things (in a material sense) but as she has gotten older she much more wants the company of people. She did a good job this week of not watching too much social media. Her sleep has improved. She feels more rested and she has more energy. |
| Activities | I checked in with the group and we discussed the topic of brahmacharia (non excess). L.C.states that she feels good because she did not watch as much social media and her screen time was down 2 hours. LC states that she is feeling jittery because she had too much coffee today, she states that her go to is always stimulants. We talked about the concept of the 3 gunas in yoga and how she has a lot of rajasic energy and she states that sometimes she likes it but she does want to be able to calm down and be in a more satvic state. |
| Client/Group progress summary | My clients showed up for this online group enthusiastic and I feel that they made progress. They did their breathing practice and if they did not do asanas they did something else instead. Their week was more mindful, they all talked about less anxiety and stress. Even if things happened in their life like the death of a close friend. Their enjoyed the mixed chair and mat class and there are getting more familiar with the poses. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I am very happy with this group.I learned how to teach a mixed mat and chair class. I got positive feedback from the group how much they enjoyed the class. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | This was our last session, but we are planning an outdoor after party with lost of good food and good company. |
