Your care plan should be approved by your mentor, with any amendments they suggested, prior to your remaining Yoga Therapy sessions.
Care PlanOutline should be a practice adapted to the needs of that client/group, including:
  • Check in, centering, balanced hatha yoga set considering contraindications, relaxation (with imagery as appropriate),
  • balanced pranayama considering contraindications, meditation/centering.
  • Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
  • Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them.

Feet to head alignment-keep slight bends etc..
Slow twist on EX IN to center arms outstretched low, shoulder height and high 3 x @side and height.
Lat Flex similar to class 2 (pick you arm position of 2)
1. Asymmetrical Uttanasana IN both arms up, EX ff Rarm down L arm to back. IN up ½ way (flat back) EX fold back over IN come up both arms overhead. RPT alt arms. 4 x
2. Shoulders warm up R arm forward rotation L arm backwards after a few switch arm direction. Roll shoulder blades alternating R an L. Pause feel
3. WW1 stance feet awareness of weight (weight mid to outer edge. IN bend front knee and take arms low to side EX back IN take shoulder blades together mid height. EX back IN take arms over head Rpt 3 x and hold on last 3 breaths lengthen low back. Rpt other side
4. Prasarita Padotttanasana EX ½ way IN lengthen EX all the way. IN up. Rpt 3 x hold 2 breaths. Block under hands for Pavritti PP IN take L arm up. EX back down IN R arm up EX down rpt 3 x @ side then hold 3 breaths (be aware of trying to keep sacrum flat) feel stretch into inner thighs.
5. Uttkatasana IN lift arms EX bend knees hitch at waist IN stay EX fold over thighs and swing arms behind Pause IN swing arms up and back to posture. EX stay. IN straighten up and bring arms down. 3 x fold over Ahdo Mukha In all 4s to ( childs pose)
6. Child’s IN to Urdhva Mukha and back on EX Hold 1 br 2 br 3 breaths
7. Urdhva Prasarita Padasana
Supine bent knees Exhale Alt pulling R/L knee to chest 4 rpt. Supine knees /hips ~90 degrees IN straighten legs feet dorsiflex heels to ceiling. EX back to 90/90 ish. Alt L leg/R arm 4-6 more
8. Jathra Pavvirtti Supine, arms out to side palms down, bend R knee towards chest. EX drop knee across body, IN up rpt4 x Stay in twist-feel check self for adj. Breathe. L hand on R knee. Take R arm towards hip IN arc arm just above floor above head EX back rpt 6 x IH gently come back to supine knees bent. EX bring navel to spine and slightly tuck pelvis IN relax rpt 3 X Change sides.
9. Pascimasanasana Adaption
Sit legs forward, keep slight bend in knees EX fold over legs, IN up to flat back (betwn 45-90 degrees) EX draw shoulder blades together as bend elbows 90 degrees IN straighten arms, EX fold over legs IN come up to arms overhead rpt 4 times.

Supine
Savasana Sutra1.39 The use of inquiry or even a small distraction can direct the mind. Using what is needed in the moment of chos -works but then stay with direction not distraction. The 2nd sutra talks of this restraint of mind stuff-find an object of concentration and direct the mind in a good direction.

Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
