Sets intentions The client shared the following for my question about setting intention: “Most of my intention is not to ponder about the past, past decisions, or mistakes and my focus has been like, basically “ I am not my past”. That too just like “ I am not my body”, “ I am not my mind”, “ I am not my past” and having faith that “ I can stay in the present and not have to constantly loop in the past mistakes to keep myself safe, but I can just have the wisdom of learning from it and moving on”. Some detachment like, some of the stuff you said like “ I am not my injured body; so that’s a little bit of intention too” 3. This session did not include any hatha Yoga practice as planned as the client had PT session right before the class, looked very tired and was able to spend little time for the session that day 4. Had a discussion about yoga sutras and reviewed some old sutras from previous sessions. Client shared his thoughts about contentment, what that means to him Yogic wisdom review: 2.35 - Ahimsa, 2.33 & 2.34 - Pratipaksha Bhavana Asana - 2.46, Pain is inevitable - 2.15, Suffering can be avoided, what is yoga - 1.2 to 1.4. 5. Home practice discussion Client preferred to continue to work on previous practices and not interested in adding new practices until we meet again. 6. Client agreed to spend another 15 to 20 hours of Yoga therapy sessions with me. |

| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
