| Activities | Check in (5 min) Centering (5 min): spent a few minutes grounding in a seated position. Had MM lead our "om" today to open up and energize her throat chakra. Went directly into breathwork (3-part breath and Brahmari). Discussion (10-15 min): had an open ended conversation about anything that has come up for her in regards to homework, in general, etc. Discussed reflections on our work together. Asana (20-30 min): went through all poses taught up until this point. Ended in "legs up the wall" for final meditation. Relaxation (10 min): Loving-Kindness Meditation Closing (5 min): discussion around the session as well as the end of our sessions together. |
| Client/Group progress summary | MM was incredibly introspective throughout our five sessions together and truly a pleasure to work with. She approached each session with openness and curiosity, and I feel she gained meaningful insight into herself along the way. I’m confident that the tools she’s learned—both on and off the mat—will continue to support her growth and healing well beyond our time together. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | As I reflect on my time working with MM, I feel proud of the space I was able to hold and the connection we built over the course of our sessions. In hindsight, I recognize the value of incorporating more measurable outcomes to better assess progress. Moving forward, I plan to implement tools such as intake questionnaires and post-session reflections to more clearly track growth and support my clients in a more structured way. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
