Client/Group progress summary

Jasiri was less stressed (3-4 stress scale) this week which was surprising as she began a full load school schedule. She is becoming aware of what she needs to work on especially time management. She will try to come up with a routine for bedtime. She had cancelled a session due to allergies and fatigue.

Jasiri has also agreed to be my capstone client.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Today was a difficult session because I was experiencing heat exhaustion. However, once we began with the asana portion I did feel more energy.

I ran out of time for inversion but we covered the inversion during the sun salutations.
Also ran out of time for Ha breath due to a longer session of yoga nidra.

I need to switch my evening farming chores to after sessions to avoid the direct heat until the weather cools down.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Continue with strengthening and balancing poses.
Increase length of meditation.
Incorporate poses that assist with reducing insomnia.
Introduce Ha breath to reduce allergy symptoms.
