Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
Yoga flow for session 3
Yogic wisdom: Satya - Being true to how the body feels
Yoga flow: Chair yoga
Centering: Body Awareness
Warm-ups and Gentle movements: Arm circles, pelvic tilt with arms flowing up and down through Bridge Pose, Cat-Cow, Breath of Joy, Windshield Wiper and Reclining Spinal Twist.
Therapeutic Yoga Poses
Mountain Brook, Gentle Mountain Brook, Resting Star, Supported Reclining Pose, Supported Spinal Twist, Waterfall and all Final Relaxation poses
Breath work: Take several long, deep breaths and breathe into the affected area positive energy, fluidity and fresh oxygen; breathe out congestion, tension and anything that is ready to be released. As the breath flows in, allow your palms to open and expand (a gesture of opening to receive). As you exhale, close the palms and visualize the gentle milking of the lymph system that happens with each breath. Take several long inhalations and exhalations with the palms gently opening and closing with each breath.
Guided meditation while the client is resting in a restorative pose:
Come into a pose such as Gentle Mountain Brook or one of the Final Relaxation poses.
Place blankets over you if you feel cool and, if you like, an eye pillow over your eyes or forehead.
Begin by taking a few belly breaths, breathing into the space below the navel (Hara or Svadhisthana chakra) and feel any stress or tension release on the exhalation....
With each breath soften the belly and relax more deeply....
Visualize a crystal clear healing water flowing gently and freely through your body, cleansing areas of stagnation, enhancing immune function and soothing all affected areas....
Imagine areas of congestion now opening for lymph to flow more easily....
Feel the body opening to the gentle flow and fluid nature of the lymph and circulatory system....
Visualize healing light now flowing freely from head to toe, feel this energy bringing deeper healing to every cell....
All the tissues come into perfect harmony and health...
You feel peaceful and deeply relaxed....
Rest in this state of pure relaxation for as long as you like.
When you are ready to return into the room, take a few deep breaths and open your eyes.
