Yoga philosophy - Practice and non-attachment

Session 13 - Client stayed at Yogaville with his friend who is also paraplegic. Client was experiencing stomach ulcer and abdominal pain. Did Therapeutic yoga poses and extended deep muscle relaxation with guided imagery, Discussed about managing his energy level depending on how he feels physically and mentally on that particular day.
Session 14 - Reviewed client's goals and discussed about future session's plan. Client liked to focus on working with his mental distractions to enhance his concentration. Did yoga nidra, Kapalabhati and nadi suddhi with guided imagery as meditation practice. Client participated in Hand Bike Marathon.

Client/Group progress summary

Client progresses well mentally. He begins to accept his injury and explores outdoors activities with his current body and ability. He spends time together with his new friends like him and creating his own sangha. Client still needs guidance with pain management, energy management, work on minimizing distractions and enhancing focus/concentration.

Reflection and self-evaluation

My heart is overwhelmed with the client's progress. All the glory goes to God!

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
