Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

In one of the session, client was experiencing mental stress and wanted to skip the session. I proposed having a session with yoga nidra and lying in different therapeutic poses like supported reclining pose and prone savasana which helped her to calm down and aided her with her sleeping that particular day.

Client/Group Goals

Learn yoga tools to get deep sleep

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

Client feels very calm and relaxed at the end of the session even though stressed in the beginning of the session. Client needs consistent practice to develop stress hardiness.

Energetic level

After the session the client feels relaxed. The client and I are in different time zones. She is in India. The sessions were at her evening times and once before bed. The client usually yawns and gets ready for bed after the session and one time she slept during the session and I ended the session once I realized she slept (which was expected and planned). One time she slept during the relaxation for a brief time (she told after the session). Again she needs consistent practice of the yogic tools, so she can use them by herself without someone guiding her.

Emotional

During one session she was emotionally disturbed a lot. That is the day we did the therapeutic poses with breath awareness practice and yoga nidra. She slept during the session. Again, she needs to practice for a long time to develop the stress hardiness in this level.

Intellectual / Sense of self

Her sense of self needs enhancement and I feel like it will happen but needs time.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

She has a good support system. I feel like she needs the practice of "surrendering to the cosmic consciousness and acceptance" as she experiences fear, anxiety about the future because of her past experiences.

Additional Information
Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written

I received oral feedback like "I am feeling more relaxed" , " Very good session" . Her sleeping during the yoga nidra or after the session indicates the session helped her to relax the nervous system.

Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework)

Cat/Cow movement with breathing
Modified twisting flow with breathing (Drawing one elbow towards the back, which turns the shoulder back and neck follows shoulder movement)

Personal reflection from doing client/group.
Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session1 to 2 hours
What you would change with benefit of hindsight

I would like to go with the flow because sometimes I ended up with a new yoga flow from what I had prepared for the session. So, I fell like having a care plan ready and go with how the client feels in the beginning of the session.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

I would like to receive more support in the following areas more in general not related to this particular client:
1. When I create a care plan for the yogic wisdom part, sometimes I don't know where to start from and how to progress with parting the yogic wisdom, sometimes it feels easy and sometimes I really struggle from where to start with.
2. Once I create a care plan, I add more to the care plan and sometimes completely different yoga flow from the care plan. Is ok to follow different plan from the care plan from session to session to include variety?

Did you enjoy your service?

Absolutely, more than 100%.
