Client/Group progress summary

Stress scale - 7 to 8 - due to finances, meditation has helped. Very emotional due to grief (anniversary of her sister's passing) and worry (son is without a job and staying with her - she feels his heaviness). She is holding on to so much and feels there is no release. Sleep varies due to stress.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Meeting Jasiri where she was at I shifted this session to focusing on relaxing and releasing; we discussed the benefits of breathing and sitting through emotions and meeting them with curiosity in order to learn and grow and to look at these emotions as a learning tool and not something to be ashamed of. I introduced Kirtan Kriya and how the cycles of change are natural and peace comes from embracing them.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
