| Homework assignment to client/group | Rather than adding new homework, JY was encouraged to choose one practice from the past four weeks that felt most supportive, such as restorative rest, journaling, or quiet inquiry, and continue it independently. She was given a final reflection prompt: “What feels true for me right now, even if nothing needs to change yet?” |
| Activities | This session focused on integration, rest, and gentle reflection. We began with a longer restorative sequence using full support to encourage deep rest and nervous system settling. Breath awareness was woven throughout, with minimal cueing to support ease rather than effort. Following the physical practice, we spent time reflecting on themes that emerged over the past four weeks, including values, what brings aliveness, and the idea of Santosha as contentment in the present moment without requiring resolution or decisions. |
| Client/Group progress summary | JY reported feeling calmer and more grounded by the end of the session and shared that having permission to rest and not “figure everything out” felt relieving. She was able to reflect on the past few weeks with increased self-compassion and clarity, noting a stronger connection to her internal experience. While uncertainty about the future remains, she appeared more comfortable holding that uncertainty without urgency or self-criticism. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I intentionally kept this session spacious and non-directive, allowing JY to integrate her experience without adding new material. I noticed that restorative practices were particularly supportive in helping her access a sense of steadiness and ease. Overall, the four-week arc felt appropriately paced, and I am mindful of continuing to support her inner authority and self-trust rather than pushing toward action. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | If therapy continues, I plan to collaborate with JY on next steps based on what feels most supportive for her, which may include deeper nervous system work, continued values and dharma exploration, or longer-term integration practices. Any future care plan will continue to prioritize pacing, choice, and embodied awareness. |
