Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Client/Group progress summary
Physical level: I observed improvements in positioning of all joins during asana practice and a gentler glide during walking. I was able to observe more relaxed breathing, into the chest.
Energetic level: The client became much more relaxed faster with each session following our centering practice.
Emotional: The client still struggles with expressing and managing emotions, but they opened up to me more as the sessions continued.
Intellectual / Sense of self: By session three, the client was able to articulate what was causing their lack of focus at work. They had awareness about adjustments that were needed to their approach while working and were more open to suggestions in this area. They also articulated very clearly that they feel better on days when they meditate and follow the homework.
Spiritual orientation and support plan: The client really took to the discussion about the Yoga Sutras, particularly about ignorance of self.
Reflection and self-evaluation
Questions, problems challenges
I was really challenged to help them work through some of the emotional blockages that seem to exist. I tried a few different approaches, but it’s very clear to me that the emotions are creating some of the challenges that the client is facing. There have been a few moments where they’ve teared up. I held space for them, but wasn’t sure what else would be appropriate. What strategies would you recommend?
What you learned. Did you enjoy your service?
I felt really good about working with this client. I felt confident about the physical assessments in the first session, which I didn’t anticipate that I’d be able to do so easily. I learned that a lot of my approaches that I use with community members in my full time job are applicable with yoga therapy, but there are also some differences.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
