Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

Sine she does not have a spiritual practice I tired to use more connection to nature, connection to her peer group and to bring in what is meaning full to her.

Client/Group Goals

We continued to work on her goals, we talked about how she can incorporate mindfulness in her daily life. She also started to incorporate the streching after her cardio workout

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

Her physical level stayed the same.

Energetic level

I did not notice any changes to her energetic level.I think this will take some time and the client needs to be consistent or she would benefit from longer yoga therapy , but because she is so busy with her daily life she did not want to continue.

Emotional

she maintained the same level emotionally, she did not share much about her emotional state and I think it would take sometime for her to open up, she family focused on her physical health.

Intellectual / Sense of self

She is a high archiver and tends to rationalize a lot so it is not easy for her to open up and share her emotions.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

She reported that she was not practicing inane religious or spiritual practice.I think for her a good entry point would be spending time in nature, she enjoys long walks and with this she can incorporate mindfulness by paying attention to the nature and paying attention to her surroundings.

Additional Information
Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written

My client enjoyed the yoga therapy sessions. She felt it was helpful to have a whole person approach. She enjoyed the different practices

Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework)

The first homework I gave her was alternate nostril breathing, when I asked her if she tried it she states that she forgot to practice.Talked with my mentor about motivational interviewing and asking her if there was a barrier to her

Personal reflection from doing client/group.
Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session480 minutes
What you would change with benefit of hindsight

I would include a bit more yoga philosophy into the practice but in a more common language.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

I would like to have had a bit more input from my mentor on including yoga philosophy into the therapy I still find it difficult to translate the wisdom teachings into a more current language .

Did you enjoy your service?

yes I did I enjoy learning
