Continue practice of the postures introduced today. Encouraged him with these practices, his tai chi, even his HIIT and strength training workouts to see how he can incorporate the balance of sthiram and sukham with awareness of his breathing.

Client/Group progress summary

Michael is committed to moving with as much freedom as possible in his anamaya kosha. He understands and feels the benefits of pranayama practice, but still pushes through a bit. He seems interested in getting together for a session every 4-6 weeks or so. When next he reaches out, want to focus more on the deeper teachings that would offer support to the "controlled rage."

Reflection and self-evaluation

I still wish I could offer him more support in the pranamaya and manomaya koshas - but I must catch myself: is part of that because of the fact I wish I could also support my veteran husband more effectively in that area? Must be careful of transferring that concern for Andy onto Michael or any other veteran client.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
