Reflection and self-evaluation

I’ve recently added more physical challenges to this group, so we’ll see how that goes and if it’s appreciated or not. I’ve always been especially challenged by the women’s groups. I’ve continued to self-reflect on that, and just keep showing up with as much equanimity as possible.
I don’t feel great at holding their focus and attention, so I need to challenge them more to hold that focus and attention.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

I plan to add more strength poses - chair and warriors held.
Increase the breathing instruction/cues during poses/flows.
Reminder to take up space. It’s something I used to do with the women, but had forgotten.
