Homework assignment to client/group

Continuing daily asana practice in the morning and before bed.
Slow, deep breathing for stress relief.
Drawing/painting symbolism for True Self.

Activities

Restorative asana for stress relief: passive backbend; knees to chest; legs up on chair; reclining twists.
Client has cut most diet soda out of her diet but still drinks the black tea in the morning.
Discussed more about the True Self/Divinity within. Traditional Holy Spirit symbolism does not resonate with her. Rather, something like: open hands spreading a ball of Light/Love and healing.
Discussed going deep in one place/practice rather than "digging many shallow wells."
I collected imagery from her about favorite colors, animals, places, etc to use in creating a guided meditation for her for next week.
Slow, deep breathing

Client/Group progress summary

Client is discerning a call to chaplaincy now since she feels very drawn to work with people spiritually or anyone who is "struggling" in any way. She has made progress in seeing what she is NOT called to do, so she can narrow her focus and energy onto where she wants to be. She feels great physically since she has been eating very well, eating lots of vegetables and avoiding sugar. She says when she eats plants, she can feel their cells nurturing the cells of her body. She stated today that she sees how much progress she has made in her life since last year at this time. She is turning 50 at the end of this month and looking forward to embracing the "crone within."

Reflection and self-evaluation

I love how open this client is to discussing whatever is happening with her. I intended to discuss more Raja Yoga with her today but ran out of time. I do not feel uncomfortable or unprepared at all with this client.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Guided meditation using the imagery I gathered from her today.
Will also do some sort of asana (seated or standing) depending on how she is feeling.
Will discuss meditation and do some practice together.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
