Homework assignment to client/group

Breathe deeply and take longer exhalations.

Activities

We talked on the phone for 30 minutes about Yoga Therapy and how it can help the client with the many layers of being (koshas). My client told me she really needed it, she was stressed and depressed. She told me some of the things I read on the intake later.

Client/Group progress summary

First, her voice on the phone was very slow and tired. After talking for some time, I could hear her let out a faint laugh and her voice was a little bit stronger.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I should have taken notes from our first meeting to give more information here, and also for my own data. Because this meeting happened more than 2 months ago, and I was not counting it, I do not remember the details of our conversation.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

In the next session, I will have her intake and I will do a more thorough client's assessment. This session was very important for us to get to know each other before meeting in person.
