| Session Number | 4 |
| Total Session Minutes | 60 |
| Homework assignment to client/group | Work with EFT tapping on difficult emotions, especially anything anxiety-related. |
| Activities | Discussed their homework reading/writing on pratipaksha bhavana. Clients shared examples of how they used the teaching during the week. Two clients brought up issues related to other people, so this will work nicely, too, when we get to the 4 locks and 4 keys next week. |
| Client/Group progress summary | Clients continue to be engaged and interested in the material we're learning and practicing. One client always forgets to bring his homework readings back for discussion, but he still contributes to conversation. Three clients attended my Sunday afternoon restorative yoga class at the rec center this week. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I was not at all in the mood to teach this group today. My mind kept trying to find a reason to cancel, but there was no good reason. The problem is I'm exhausted since I've been awake since 2:30AM. Some nights I have terrible insomnia for no reason I can figure. But the group itself went well, and I did everything I intended to do with the clients. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
