| Session Date | 04/11/2024 |
| Session Number | 1 |
| Total Session Minutes | 90 |
| Homework assignment to client/group | SS Home practice after 04/11/2024 session. Hip circles. Standing. Inhale as you circle hips forward, exhale as you circle them behind. Sufi circles. Seated in a chair, not cross legged as illustrated. Inhale as you circle across the front side, exhale around the back side. Could try the drinking breath, softly breathing in through the mouth as you circle forward, exhaling through the nose as you circle behind. You may conclude the practice by resting with hands on thighs or stacked on the heart center and take about three/five/ten slow steady breaths. |
| Activities | Intake discussion. Seated cow/cat, hip circles, Sufi circles seated in a chair. Extended exhale. |
| Client/Group progress summary | N/A Intake, no prior session to progress from. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Give myself more time to consider client’s response and ask more questions about client’s pain and her means of coping with chronic pain. Client easily accesses the subtle bodies. She drops in to meditation right away. Living in her physical body can be distressing for her. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Seated stretches with breath connection, quiet ujjayi pranayama, guided relaxation with the water element for sacral chakra access/creativity & renewal. Client self-reports, she is a triple water sign. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
| Additional Information | |
| Personal reflection from doing client/group. | |
