Client/Group progress summary

Several were missing today for various reasons.
Most moving slowly, low energy, focused in breathing practices. The other 3 were calm and agreeable, easily distracted, all reported enjoying the stretching most of all today.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I struggle with the women’s classes. I know it’s a lesson in patience and non-judgment. At PYP we show up with unconditional positive regard, and I try. I felt like my patience was low at times today - I slowed down and checked in with myself and the group to see if we should switch gears (ie. move to the floor sooner, etc)

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Sometimes I think I need to add more physical challenge, and sometimes I think I need to learn more floor poses. I think today’s sequence worked well for who was there, and my plan is to do it again next week, depending on who shows up - and how.
