Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Client/Group progress summary
Some changes in the roster, so I did a new assessment with who was there today, just in case I don’t see some of the other guys again (in the next few weeks of practicum). There is still an overlap of more than 3 participants from the original group, so I plan to continue with this group as a case study even with the changes.
Avg age: 24
5/6 have been to yoga class before.
WHY? To learn yoga, to have peace, to relax, relieve stress, learn something new, peace of mind.
All currently exercise.
3/6 currently experiencing pain (back, shoulder)
Energy level just below 4.
Sleep is just below “mostly good”.
Stress is med-high.
Additional comments: the last exercise helps me sleep at night; I would like to take yoga on the street.
Surveys show the best part of class is the breathing part.
Reflection and self-evaluation
The roster changes are a constant thing, which didn’t bother me as much when I wasn’t trying to keep track of a core group.
I did have a good opportunity today to discuss and explain that the breathing part (and the relaxation part) is so good because of all the parts before. I’d really like to increase the physical challenge, but I'm not sure I’m up for demoing that right now, so maybe increasing the focus challenge will work well. I’m feeling less than 100%, which is extremely challenging in jail!
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
It always depends on who shows up and how they show up.
I always plan to do the full planned outline. I’d like to shake things up a bit if I continue to have a chatty bunch, but most are focussed, and it works so well the way it is. I think the compound balance moves will be good though - we’ve done that in the past (tree to W3 to tree) with good results.
