| Homework assignment to client/group | Your ayurvedic dosha assessment shows primarily vata, or vata/pitta. We can talk more about that, what it means, and what you might try. For now, start with changing your focus at the gym to prioritize lovingly moving your body instead of pushing so hard. And, if it feels right, try the eating plan you were given along with the new stress management practices you’ve learned. Continue to practice the HA breath and the rock and roll (pelvic tilt) breathing and we will practice and refine those when I see you. This week’s Ishvara Pranidhana practice: This week, wake up every morning and “let God in.” Believe in something that is greater than you are and let your actions, your mind, and your heart line up with that greatness. |
| Activities | Check in. Shared more on the weight research. |
| Client/Group progress summary | Showed up with tight hips. Otherwise feeling good physically. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I actually thought of using the dosha assessment based on the research I read and that I was surprised by the results and adjusted accordingly. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Maybe add some strength moves, depending on results of gym workout adjustment. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
| Additional Information | |
| Personal reflection from doing client/group. | |
