Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Mentoring Session Topic and Comments
first checking in about client feedback from and to update the spread sheet. For a yes study the individual sessions have to be documented .
Talked about a students client with lumbar stenosis, where with yoga the physical condition had improved but now the mental condition has declined as the client became more aware off their troubles and cooping patterns.
Talked about that this is a positive sign that the client is working and processing , although it might on the surface look as a regress it is saccutally progress the client is making in becoming more aware and digging deeper. It is also normal to see some regression in people before progressing.
An other topic that was covered was a client with hip pain and arthritis woh takes pain medication twice a day.
Dicussed what yoga can and can not do for this client
for example yoga will not reverse the discretion of tissue.
yoga will help with balance , strength building and introspection.
Also the pain is in the nervous system and can be moved from the sympathetic nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system with ongoing practice.
Also to think about the concept of Pratipaksha Bhavana to turn negative thoughts into positive ones.
Also talked about somatic based meditation.

Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
