Client/Group progress summary

This was our first session. Client was eager to see how YT could support her as she manages her various spinal conditions. Client enjoyed the Asanas - and spoke up when something didn't feel right. She especially enjoyed the Modified Reclining Dandasana for spinal elongation.
We discussed anxiety briefly - she didn't want to go into specifics.
We spoke about Chakras and what might be going on energetically in her lower back / pelvic area. Brainstormed a bit then I mentioned Mula Bandha, which we had studied during ITT. We agreed to look into this during our next session.
We then closed with a brief meditation.

Reflection and self-evaluation

All in all, I was pleased with how the session went. I felt we covered a lot of ground during our time together. I was pleased that client was eager and open - obviously wanting more. I'm learning - slowly, but surely, that it's OK not to know sometimes. Even better to admit that too!

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

- Review / refine Asana sequence. Possibly introduce 1 or 2 more asanas that will augment / complement our objectives noted above
- Pranayama - check-in re 3-Part Breath and explore 1 more breathing practice, possibly an energizing practice
- Mula Bandha - explore how to work with this Root Energy Lock and potential benefits accessing and releasing some of the discomfort in lower back and pelvic area.
