Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

Changed the care plan completely during one session where offering a TRE practice felt like what was needed at the time. Ended up not introducing all of the practices to the client I had originally planned over the course of the sessions, but feel like having her concentrate on the Embodied Lord's Prayer, Dirga Swasam and Pratipaksha Bhavana were enough without overwhelming her.

Client/Group Goals

I feel like the client has made huge progress in her goals, reflected in her continued practice of Pratipaksha Bhavana and Dirga Swasam.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

Improved digestion - reduction in bloating, cramping.
Consistent movement - through home practice of Embodied Lord's Prayer as well as attending at least one yoga class per week has reduced stiff and tight feelings.

Energetic level

Improved energy, improved sleep quality, improved mental focus in the afternoons at work

Emotional

Better boundary setting with family members and friends
Meaningful and productive conversations with partner and partner's family

Intellectual / Sense of self

Reporting that she has started "dreaming again" in terms of a vision for her future.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

Has begun consistent spiritual practices - Bible reading/listening, 40 Day Soul Fast

Additional Information
Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written

Feeling "driven" again - looking ahead to her future instead of feeling trapped in a house focused on the past

Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework)

Practice: Embodied Surya Namaskar of her choice (Lord's Prayer or Psalm 23), as well as the twists and happy baby. Goal is two times/week, and if she is able to practice more frequently, great!

Continue: Dirga Swasam with her imagery.

Continue: Pratipaksha Bhavana - with a focus on visual images/vision board. She mentioned having several pictures on her phone that she loves and are calming for her. What if she printed one or a few and placed them in spaces in her home to help her feel lighter in that space?

Personal reflection from doing client/group.

What you would change with benefit of hindsight

There isn't anything that jumps out that I would have done differently, but would appreciate feedback if you think there was something specific for me to evaluate and revisit.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

With this client I can't think of anything specific - she was so engaged, consistent with practicing her homework and excited for her own progress and growth.

Did you enjoy your service?

Very much so!
