Client/Group progress summary
Quiet group as it’s a new combination of folks. Good participation and focus. All stood for the standing part. None got on the floor at all. Gave options for challenge during tree pose and all chose their own adventure. Eager to learn practices.
Reflection and self-evaluation
I’m leading this group as if they are beginners - not knowing everything they already know. So sometimes I catch myself feeling unsure of giving a cue that they might not be familiar with, because I don’t know them that well yet. I felt like I’m talking too much, so I left a few intentional pauses.
It seems like everyone everywhere is eager to learn about stress mgmt or tools for regulation.
I might be at my max for different groups now as it’s getting harder to write things up afterward even if it is the same day. I’m like, wait, did I do that today…?

Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
I want to write up something and actually stick to it, just to make this documentation part easier, but every time I say I’m going to do that, I get with a group or person, and change it up.
My plan is to build on the breathing practices, and the information I’ve shared and reinforce what we’ve already done.
I’m thinking about doing more of a check in, but there is a very strict schedule that I’m fitting into, so I’m not sure how that will work.
In other groups I’ve been able to do a little check in with some gentle movement at the beginning. I’ll think about that and see if that might work, although I only have a couple more sessions that will be documented.
