| Client/Group progress summary | Client reported went on a 4-mile hike last Friday, enjoyed the trip. She is still careful managing her energy and fatigue. Today before our session she rested. She made a phone call to someone from whom she had an estranged friendship, but she would be traveling with on the trip to Guatemala. The call went very well and she was looking forward to reconnecting on the trip: "Is it odd, or is it God?" - great question she asked herself. Guided the client through Yoga Nidra, using the Integral scripting. Client found it very relaxing and enjoyable. She felt she was more aware of the movement of her breath, and appreciated bringing awareness to different parts of the body. She has enjoyed learning more about the "power of the breath and the thoughts." |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I really enjoy offering Yoga Nidra to clients. It can be a practice just spending time with them truly finding the most comfortable position of the body, encouraging the client not to settle for what feels good, but truly find whatever support is needed that allows them to let go of the effort of holding themselves up and release. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | We're both getting ready to leave on trips - we'll reconnect in a few weeks after we each get back. |
