| Homework assignment to client/group | Continue exploring the practices Continue with her goal to "move every day" - evaluating each day and adapting for what her mind and body need |
| Activities | Check In Awareness Practice Vayu Mudras - way of exploring energy and movement within the body Extended Shavasana and Yoga Nidra |
| Client/Group progress summary | During check in client reported still dealing with the fatigue from the immunotherapy treatment, but was excited to find out that she will be finished with the treatments sooner than she had thought - she found this out when she followed up with her doctor. She is still meeting her goal of "move every day" - whether it's a walk, a swim, a yoga class. She enjoyed practicing the mudras - seeing opportunities to practice them both on and off the mat. As her energy was lower today I offered an extended time of Shavasana and Yoga Nidra. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Earlier this year I had done some additional mudra training with Indu Arora, and wanted to share these 5 mudras with the client as a way to better connect with her energy, especially on days where she feels the need to reduce the amount of her movement. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | This was our last planned session. I'll continue to see her when she comes to my weekly yoga classes. |
