Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Assessment
All supine in bed
Physical R side of body weakness, able to do some ROM at joints
L side impeded by paralysis, weakness, and pain
Breath appears to be able to breath equally right and left. GB is peripheral NS so that tracks.
His breath is shallow weak and passive, asking him to control, he has to learn.
Worked with inhale 2 part feeling chest then enhancing depth with and exp.
Worked a bit with exhale activating lower and to gently squeeze.
He is in bed for UK period of time so I feel actively breathing is an activity of value to work on. He also has elevated CO levels which can be related to shallow breathing, inefficient exhale.
Movement alt dorsifelx of L foot and elbow flexion on inhale lower and relax on exhale. Work one side to teach activity then the other then we alternated a few times.
Cervical movements taught movements then connected to breath.
EX rot to L In to center Ex rot to R in to center. Flex ex chin to chest in lift chin up a bit farther than neutral. Lat flex Ex bring R ear towards R shoulder In to center Ex bring L ear towards L shoulder. Slide head on bed.
Mini bridge ( His PT has worked with ab contraction in same position) We repeated that working on Ex bring navel to spine. Then I had him push into feet and arms and lift pelvis Ex slowly come back down. Amazing he lifts 6 inches off bed. Note to not bend L knee past 90-100 deg, too painful.
Center to breath relax
Guided Med Photosynthesis/ Respiration guided imagery connects our O2 and path in body to CO leaving and going to plants to help them.
Talked with him and Niece about bringing some nature and happy into room.
Client/Group progress summary
Just starting
Goals are to help him develop body awareness and breath awareness, so that his exercises become more holistic. Hopefully getting patterns built that will be useful.
Reflection and self-evaluation
Time flies when the client can't go anywhere and requires help to feel the movement or learn the movement.
W were both surprised that the bridge improved so much by combining the breath and breaking apart some of the movements -
I enjoyed meeting him in person in his environment. Brings it home that he is a visitor and someone's burden for now.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
Same, he will need a fair amount of repetition to get the hang of things. Add parts and depth for next few sessions and dig deeper into his psyche.
