Breathing Practice – Nadi Sudi.
Meditation - Add an invocation to God before meditation. After the mediation add a closing giving thanks and asking for God’s presence with you all day.

Notice your Vritti’s and how they show up. Do they show up as attachment, aversion, desire? Can you identify them and observe them in yourself. Can you watch them in your mind and not become involved? Are these Vriti’s also internal stressors for you? Notice what happens in your body and mind.

Client/Group progress summary

Client said that she had a much better week and that she was able to do her asana practice most days. She was able to do the breathing and meditation every day. She expressed how a lot of the meditation is a matter of self-discipline for her.

Client reported that in the past week she had to travel a lot to see her adopted family and that she was able to notice what she feels aversions to - the drama that goes on and that “she was able to respond compassionately and kindly and be present and not get bogged down with it all.”

Client ordered and received the book The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Translation and Commentary by Sri Swami Satchidananda.

Client enjoys listening to the AUM chant.

Reflection and self-evaluation

This client seems to appreciate Yoga Therapy very much.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
