| Total Session Minutes | 60 |
| Homework assignment to client/group | SMTT mini series for breaks during the work day. Continue to utilized kurma nadi and feathering touch. |
| Activities | Check-in, center, ground. Client found both touching kurma nadi and feathering touch calming and effective. Reflection on event we both attended, me in-person and client on Zoom, in which client was misgendered multiple times. Awareness practice through the koshas. Joint freeing series, extended exhale. Dynamic standing Warrior II as suggested during mentor meeting. SMTT mini series. Cheri Clampett’s meridian and chakra guided relaxation/meditation. Closing. Feedback. |
| Client/Group progress summary | The client was more willing to explore movement, to distinguish between discomfort and pain, evaluating what is painful and what is sustainable in dynamic movement. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | The client finds the sessions give them energy and positivity to carry them though the rest of their work day. Client expressed appreciation for my apologizing for misgendering them one time, honoring their personal choices. They had not known I made that mistake. Exchange helped to establish greater trust between us. Forearms on chair seat in forward bend was well received. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | As per last session. Discuss mantra repetition. Travel awareness through the body guided relaxation. |
