Client/Group progress summary

Client stated she is very grateful for our work together. She often needs mental/emotional support with everything she manages in life including her work, her sons, her mental/physical illness, etc.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I had a hard time staying present today since I'm feeling tired. Since the client was feeling down, I felt that I was working hard to be present to her, allow her to explore, and at the same time provide some balance to her negative thoughts without disregarding them completely. Overall, the client does very well - but doesn't give herself enough credit.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Review reading assignment, including how it fits with the raja yoga handout we have already discussed.
Complete pranayama practice (3-part breath, kapalabhati, and alternate nostril breathing).
Complete yoga nidra.
