Client/Group progress summary

Balance and coordination was good today. Quite a few fidgeters at the end.
They always feel like they have to be doing something! As we’ve been working through ahimsa and now turning towards contentment, I’m consistently encouraging them to spend some quiet time with themselves.
Everyone chose a prop to sit on! So I took extra time to really explain and demonstrate why they were important. I’ve not done it to this extent before because most were unwilling to use them until today.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I’ve started leaving the lights all on until we lie down in this class. I think it helps with balance. I still feel awkward about some things, but I get good feedback from the participants. It’s a challenge not knowing if I’ll have folks who choose chairs, but at least they will finally choose them if they want/need to!

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

This is the last session I’ll record for practicum. I plan to continue to work on adding and modifying/adapting the poses for osteoporosis for this group.
