o Nadi Sudi (10 minutes) to help with peripheral pain, adding/deepening with 3-part breathing and a healing thought or mantra (breath in calmness, breath out pain; breath in joy, breath out depression) to uplift sadness.

Meditation on the breath – 10 minutes
Be aware of your posture:
o Sit crossed legged on the floor or on a chair,
o Feet are flat on the floor.
o The back should be strait.
o Chin is parallel to the floor.
o Hands are comfortably placed on your lap.

We were discussing that when going out for a walk you can stop now and then and flex the knee and pump the foot 5 times (each foot), and come up on the tips of your toes and alternate on to the heels a few times, do this while holding on to a wall or a park bench.

As discussed, I’m sending you a simple a Pain Score 0 – 10 Numerical Rating Scale for you to choose what your pain is today. We will use this scale again in a few weeks to see if the pain is getting better. The measurement is attached in a separate document. Please look at the scale and send me the number you select for today. I will keep track of what you send.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
