Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

After a centering practice, observe your thoughts and decide which ones help you to get healthy and happy.
Practice the asanas and the affirmation.
Journaling about the Kleshas.
5 roots of suffering – Kleshas
Why do I suffer? Why can't I be happy?
1. Avidya: ignorance of your true essence.
2. Asmita: thinking about the self as separate from the whole.
3. Raga: attachment- desire for things to remain as they are, to control them.
4. Dvesha: aversion to things and situations. Why don't I like how things turned out? Why am I attached to a certain outcome?
5. Abhinivesha: Desire not to die. (The hardest thing to break free of)
Afflictions or obstacles (kleshas) are destroyed by meditation. When we look at them, we project our awareness in them, they get weaker.
Sutras 10-11: “The subtle causes of suffering are destroyed when the mind merges back into the unmanifest. The gross effects of suffering are discarded through meditation.”

In a seated position, allow your eyes to soften or close. Find a soothing image, maybe from nature or a time when you've felt loved and calm. You can also visualize a word like "peace" or "love." Inhale your arms out in front of your heart. Pause and see that image or the word in your heart's mind. Draw your hands to your heart in Hridaya or inner guidance Mudra chant "YAM," which is the bija mantra for the heart center. Repeat three times.

Client/Group progress summary
L and B said they're feeling less stressed. The others who didn’t come will get the recording of the session's asana/deep relaxation/pranayama/meditation part.
Reflection and self-evaluation
Just two clients of the original group showed up and one new came. Unfortunately, the others cannot come maybe because it is a Friday night session. They missed the first part when we shared about yoga philosophy.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
Story of the lion who thought he was a sheep (Paramahansa Yogananda). Working fear and avidya. When we recognize we are lions of energy, we can be true to ourselves, no lies and no fear. (https://www.ananda.org/blog/lion-sheep-yogananda-joy/)
Vishuddha chakra is blocked by LIES. Unblock it with introspection, non-violent and clear communication.
Warm-ups, sun salutation, tadasana, camel, child’s, viparita with block, supine twist, and savasana.
Pranayama: Lion’s breath
Meditation: DOSE
Take the daily D.O.S.E. This meditation with affirmation helps to take the attention to the breath and away from the negative thoughts of fear or frustration. DOSE is an acronym where D is dopamine, O is oxytocin, S is serotonin and E is endorphin. They are called joy hormones. And how are they released? Yoga can help release these hormones because it has 3 important requirements for this to happen: 1. Focus, concentration 2. Control of vital energy through breathing 3. Pratipaksha Bhavana (replace negative thoughts with positive ones. These 3 are DOSE ingredients, a recipe to activate the parasympathetic system, making them calmer and more balanced.
