- Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
- Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)

This is a lifelong journey. Developing any habit starts one step at a time. You will find that the more you commit to your meaningful intention, the more it makes sense to keep practicing, one moment at a time, one breath at a time. At some point, you look back and realize how far you have traveled and how you have been getting better at regulating your physical, mental, and emotional tendencies so that they are less of a hindrance and more of a support to your goal.
Unravel the Thread, page 162. Ruben Vasquez.
Journaling activities:
Write your intention in your journal and repeat it out loud. How do you feel?
Do my actions reflect my intentions?
Am I acting with joyful curiosity or with ambition?
What are the qualities of my actions?

| Client/Group progress summary | During check-in, J said she is not practicing regularly but sometimes does it mentally. I said this can be a good beginning! R is not practicing at all. But after all the pep talk and deep relaxation, she committed to practice every day from now on. A new client came today and she already has an intake. She is CSD, and was in the bone health group but just came once. She said she is practicing her PT exercises regularly.
She asked for the visual aid and said she would come this time.
|
|---|
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I realized how important is the initial talk, mainly when I use PowerPoint.
I could see today during the session that “A picture (of PowerPoint) is worth a thousand words” when R., after being part of many yoga groups and individual sessions, is just now beginning to commit to regularity in her practice. She said before that practicing the same sequence was “boring”. I said to her that the same sequence could be different every day, depending on what you focus on that day. But this argument was not so persuasive as the pictures of fascia, muscles, and mitochondria with exercise and without it. 🙂
About the yoga philosophy, I changed from the care plan and stayed with Abhyasa today. We will talk about Pratipaksa Bhavana next session.

| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
