Feedback on Scope

The key teaching was clear and proved to be valuable for the client with "aha" moments. Most aspects of SMART were included:
S:specific: 40 min/4 weeks; M: Using self assessment; A-Attainable: 4 weeks seems like a good timeframe toward the integrations of developing client's agency.
R-relevant: I think the dosha assessment as your key teaching proved to be very valuable.

T-Time-bound: You may consider asking the client how much time can they allocate to their home plan of care.

Dosha assessment was a valuable tool, not only gave you information but also to map out a picture for the client to see helping her see "why", "how" and the "what"

The plan was clear with, seemingly the main intention, for the client to find healthy self-care practices.

What was the polyvagal technique you used?

It seems that the client was able to trust you and opened up about her past trauma and as a result, recognizing the yoga therapy "scope of practice" suggesting "top-down" approach to further support her healing, was perfect and truly part of being a yoga therapist-referrals!

- I was a little confused about this sentence. Why is JAPA in parenthesis after joint freeing sequence? 🙂 "Client also stated that she has been experiencing significant joint pain in hands, wrists and knee so a partial joint freeing sequence (JAPA) was also added to plan"

In the future, using your manual, books, credible sites, or research, include some reference to support an aspect of your plan of care-for example-how yoga supports thyroid health. . . but
using client intake self-assessments (written rather than verbal) is great, provides data, and is a form of research in itself.
