3 45 minute sessions is such a short time but it sounds like they were able to get a good foundation of info of Ayurveda to hopefully have them continue in their journey with you! Would have loved to have seen more references- you mention John Hopkins site? of your Ayurvedic topics of Dosha Agni and Samprāpti, next time even if it's just the training manual that will do.
