Plan Information

Selected key teaching (specific core concept):

This individual wants to work on Yoga Sutra 2.35: In the presence of one firmly established in non-violence, hostilities cease. Ahimsa is the first of the yamas, which are ethical principles in which to live. This will involve working on ways to change the thought patterns, by changing the negative to the positive, and practicing kindness to all.

Goal for implementation with client (Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-bound relating to the client):

The goal for this individual is to speak and act more kindly to herself and others through ahimsa, the act of non violence. The client will think of her children as babies, her happy thought, when negative thoughts arise, which will help with relationships. She will begin a daily journal to reflect on her progress. We will check in after one week.

Relevant Client(s) Details

The client is a 27 year old, stay-at-home mother who cares for two young boys who are under the age of four. She is generally with the boys, 24/7/365, with very few breaks, and limited in-person interaction with family members and friends. She was previously diagnosed with anxiety disorder, and wants to work on reducing stress levels and the negativity that sometimes occurs when reacting to behaviors of her two young boys.
