| Goal for implementation with client (Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-bound relating to the client): | We are meeting for 90 minutes weekly fo 4 weeks. We are using talk therapy, asana, pranayama and chanting to build strength through the body and mind that will hoping move into other areas of her life and health. She has a 10 minute daily task of a chore meditation with a balance posture and some JAPA to do on her own. | ||||

Report Information | |||||
| How did you envision working with the client(s) to incorporate the selected teaching? (Define the plan) | When putting the plan together the plan i envisioned the focus of the 2:46 Asana should be steady comfortable posture to be the majority of our sessions. She was very strong physically and had a great yoga practice before the events of her life which changed her physically into being more frail and slight. While the use of the 1:2 Sutra and teaching her to modify her mind and thoughts I expected a bit of pushback into the quieter stiller time spent. | ||||
| What branch(es) of IY did you use? How does each support your goal/relate to the key teaching? | Hatha, we used breath and connection to the physical body to do asana for strength and balance. I used Hatha as a moving meditation for this client so she could find presence and work on her balance which was greatly decreased due to stress. | ||||
| Short notes on time with client: | This client wanted strength of her body and stress management first and foremost but as we worked together she discovered that the mind stuff, sense withdrawal, pranayama and meditation became what she really needed and wanted most. | ||||
| Follow up suggestions for your client (whether with you or on their own): | Each week I gave her a daily 5 minute task meditation and a mantra that she chose to aid her in her sleep if she wok eat and her with citta vritti. We added a walking meditation daily as well because she was receptive to the learning on controlling the mindstuff. Decreased symptoms of anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). | ||||
| Reflection | |||||
| Did you apply your intended plan once you met with the client(s)? Was the goal achieved? Explain. | The care plan worked very well with this client and we transformed it was we worked together while still working on the fundamental plan. She was receptive and open to trying many different techniques for her sense withdrawal and meditation work. She explains after our sessions that it was what helped he the most to battle anxiety and her sleep issues due to stress and the shifts in her life. | ||||
| Did you have to adapt anything in your plan? What lessons did you learn? | I wouldn't say I adapted anything from the plan. I would describe it more as a deeper dive in the Raja yoga practices to guide this client into her own journey in her stress management and understanding of her own power over her mind. | ||||
| If you are faced with the same situation again in the future, would you approach it in the same way? Why or why not? What went well? What you might change and why? Summarize. | I would approach this same situation the same way, mostly because I allowed the client to decide what she need through letting her talk before we began our sessions | ||||
| Will you be uploading suplimental images or documents? | No | ||||
| Upload supplemental images or documents | |||||
